About Studio Claremont 

​Studio Claremont is a welcoming art studio, we offer classes for children, individuals with disabilities and adults.  We aim to provide a safe and creative space for all students. Our classes cover various art forms like art history, and design principles to expand their horizons. We also aim to enhance fine motor skills, and foster an appreciation for art. We prioritize building confidence, independence, and kindness in our students.
​We believe that every child is an artist and strive to create a unique experience for each student, regardless of their abilities or skill level.

​For the safety and security of all students and staff, Studio Claremont has some physical requirements that are outlined as follows:

• Individuals must be able to stand and walk around for the duration of their shift.
• Individuals must be able to bend over to clean and retrieve fallen items.
• Individuals must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds upstairs.
• Individuals must be able to get hands dirty with art supplies.

• Work with children of all ages, abilities, and skill levels.
• Build your resume. Interning at Studio Claremont is a great resume builder and exposes interns to a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities. 
•  Get college credit. In some instances, interns can use their time at Studio Claremont for college credit. Yes, it's true! Check with your college and we will complete all the necessary paperwork. 
• Gain valuable experience working with children for students who are interested in a career involving children or teaching in the future. 
• Be hired as a staff member at Studio Claremont. Exceptional interns may also be hired on as a staff member after their internship has concluded. 

All internships offered at Studio Claremont are volunteer positions.
