Ceramics Class Online - Tuesdays 4:15 - 5:45 Ages 6-16 INCLUDES MATERIALS
This is a LIVE ONLINE CLAY CLASS that meets once a week on Tuesdays from 4:15- 5:45. This payment is for session 2 which will take place on the following days:
10/13, 10/20, 11/3, 11/10. There will be no class the week of Halloween, 10/27.
Session 2 ceramics will be inspired by fall and Halloween. No projects will be repeated from session 1.
Students will learn the fundamentals of clay and hand building to create wonderful ceramic projects that will last a lifetime. We believe every child is an artist and this art program is designed especially to focus more on...

The cost of the class includes...
- The clay
- A clay booklet
- A clay guide
- The required tools
- The firing of student projects if they are brought back to the studio in a timely manner and follow the clay guidelines.
IMPORTANT: Students will have the option to have their projects glazed white (shiny) or left bisque fired to be painted at home with acrylic paints. No colored glaze paint is included in the price of the class but can be added on at check-out.
Students will need to provide their own:
- Table protector (cardboard, plastic, etc.)
- Old rag or paper towel
- Bowl of water
- Internet connection
- Access to Zoom via a computer or smartphone
- A quiet space to do their lessons
Student projects will have to remain in the studio for a few weeks to complete the firing process. You will receive an email when your student's ceramics are ready for pick-up. We can only hold their ceramics in the studio for a short amount of time.

Clay can be messy, please ensure students have an appropriate art space (we recommend the kitchen table or outside) to do their class. Studio Claremont is not responsible for art messes that may occur as a result of the class.
After purchase, clay kits can be picked up or delivered. Please read below for details:
Student kits will be placed in a cabinet outside the studio for increased pickup flexibility. You will receive an email when your kit is ready for pick-up. Your student's kit will be labeled with their name. Please do not take any other student kits.
Select your city at check-out and your student's kit will be delivered to your front porch up until the day before their first scheduled class.
All enrolled students will receive a link and meeting ID to the email provided when they enroll to join the live class on Zoom 24 hours before their first class. Please be sure to check your email for this class information, including "promotions" and "spam" boxes. Zoom session will not be recorded so students are strongly encouraged to attend each class. No makeups, credits, or recordings will be offered for any missed classes.
If the class must be cancelled all together by studio, payments made may be applied to other classes or refunded. Please note, photo of class is for reference ONLY, student's art will be their original. All projects are subject to change.
Please note, all online classes are scheduled for the full hour and a half to allow for extra time and avoid being rushed but some class sessions may end sooner, depending on the pace of the students.
