Creating Art at Home Blog

3/17/2020

Born just this week, this blog is designed to help artists continue their creativity and reduce their stress at home. Studio Claremont is currently closed due to the COVID-19 crisis and we couldn't stand the idea of not being able to connect with our students and share our art. We have been working hard to learn all new technology to reach our studio artists, artists around the world, art teachers working remotely and anyone interested in completing some art projects at home. We hope you are inspired to create some of these lessons with your kids, your students, or even yourself! All lessons provided on this page will be FREE of charge. Please share your creations with us by tagging Studio Claremont on Facebook and Instagram or by sending us an email with your amazing works! Let's get started...

Endangered and Vulnerable Animal Education

Hi Artists!

Before the temporary studio closure, our studio artists were learning all about endangered and vulnerable animals and creating art relating to these important creatures. We wanted to create an educational slideshow about a few endangered and vulnerable animals so you can continue your learning from home. Throughout the next couple of weeks, we will be using the animals in the slideshow as inspiration for our at home art. Click through the slideshow below or download the file.

Story Time!

It's story time!! We sure do love a great relaxing story! Let's unwind and read the bedtime story, "I don't want to go to bed!" with Mrs. Heide. After that, she will teach you how to create a "Little Tiger" picture inspired by the book.  Don't forget to share your creations with us on social media and through email.
